Catalogue of asteroids from digitized photographic plates of the Northern Sky Survey project

Shatokhina, S. V.; Kazantseva, L. V.; Yizhakevych, O. M.; Andruk, V. M.

Catalogue of 2292 astrometric positions and B-magnitudes of asteroids and comets have been compiled from digitized photographic observations of the Northern Sky Survey project (part 1 - FON-Kyiv). Coordinates of asteroids were obtained in the Tycho-2 reference system, and B-values in the system of photoelectric standards.

Observations obtained at the Main Astronomical Observatory in 1981-1995 with the Zeiss Double Wide Angle Astrograph (D=40cm, F=200cm, Marsden's No.083 ). The insignificant amount of them obtained with Zeiss Double Wide Angle Astrograph (D=40cm, F=200cm, Marsden's No.114 ) of the North Caucasian astronomical station of the Kazan university, Zelenchuk, Russia and Wide Angle Astrograph (D=40cm, F=300cm, Marsden's No.186 ) in Kitab, Uzbekistan.

Digitizing of photographic plates has been carried out with the help of Microtek ScanMaker 9800XL TMA and Epson Expression 10000XL scanners, with the scanning mode - 1200 dpi, the linear size of the plates - 30x30 cm or 13,000 x 13,000 px. All processing results of scans were used for a global search for small bodies of the Solar system on these plates and compilation of them into a catalogue.

Ambiguous identifications of asteroids on photographic plates are noted in the remark column of the catalog. These include such images of asteroids, which are fixed on photographic plates in the vicinity (up to 4 arcseconds) of stars (up to 16.5 magnitudes) according to the Gaia DR2 and UCAC5 star catalogs data.
